There I was – standing in the middle of the dance floor clutching onto my brand new husband as our guests lined up for our exit, and sobbing my eyes out for the fifteenth time that day because of the overwhelming amount of joy coursing through my veins. From the months of staying up until 3AM working on a NASA project together and inadvertently becoming best friends, to our few months of  “long distance” where my brand spanking new husband drove 12 hours every weekend just to spend 24 hours with me, to adopting our first puppy just over a year ago – all of these moments were the building blocks of our love story and what brought us to this day which was somehow already over and had been everything we dreamed of and so, so, so, much more. 

I’m chasing that feeling of “overwhelming joy” for you. You’ve poured so much of yourselves and your love story into this beautiful day. Your love for each other is so evident in the moments of quiet anticipation, in the rush of love and relief when you see each other all dressed up for the first time, and in the unhinged dancing to your favorite song.
